Forum AvatarsWhat Is A Forum Avatar?A forum avatar is displayed (optionally) beside your forum topic/reply posts and gives your posts a certain 'personal touch' and also allows other forum users to associate your image with yourself - which is sometimes quicker than looking at a forum nickname.
Where Do I Get A Forum Avatar? You don't get forum avatars from anywhere except out of your own creative imagination! You have to use a graphics package such to create your own image. Suitable packages include Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop, a package such as Windows Paint isn't suitable for creating these images... unless you have no standards!
What Are The Avatar Requirements?Avatars must adhere to the following criteria;- The images must be less than or equal to 10k (kilobytes) in size.
- Image dimensions must match 100 by 100 pixels exactly.
- The image must be in GIF or JPG/JPEG format.
Can I Make My Avatar With '....' In It?All forum avatars are moderated before we allow them to be set 'live' for your use - if you include material within the image which just the slightest bit 'dodgy' or offensive in any way we will simply un-approve your avatar (meaning we will delete it).
How Do I Get My Avatar Online? You must first log-in to this site and then go to the relevant control panel page, in this instance the My Forum Avatar page - which also has instructions on uploading/modifying your avatar.
